Growing up in my preteen years, I’ve always dreamt of starting a fashion blog – a creative outlet where I could share my personal style, fashion finds, and tips. Plenty of things held me back, but fear was the number one of them all: fear of negativity, fear of not being good enough, and fear of what others would think. After wasting years of watching from the sidelines, I finally made the decision to go for it and -cue Shia LaBeouf meme- JUST DOOO IT! I realized that not doing anything is only cheating myself of all the great things that could result.
I’ve always had a passion for clothes, shoes, and accessories. I love how fashion allows us to express ourselves with the many different styles that embrace our personalities. I enjoy putting together outfits that I feel confident and look good in. I don’t know about you guys, but a good outfit makes me feel like I can conquer the world.
I created this blog, Simply Rhoxette, as a place to share my love for fashion. Although fashion is my main content focus, you’ll also find topics relating to beauty, travel, and lifestyle. With Simply Rhoxette, I hope that I can inspire you to express yourself through your wardrobe and feel confident. At the least, I hope that I can make you smile.
I’m so glad you made it here and I can’t thank you enough for stopping by! Putting myself out here was such a struggle for me in the beginning, but I’m so glad that I finally took the leap. I hope that you stick around and follow me along to see more of my posts.
My name is Rhoxette (Yes, it’s one of those names you will never find on a key chain or magnet at a souvenir shop. Thanks Mom and Dad!). I am 22 years old, born and raised in Olongapo City, Philippines. I am fluent in Tagalog and also trying to perfect my Spanish skills. I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’ve learned to love the city life and I honestly can’t picture myself living anywhere else.
I have the most amazing husband ever named Alain. A lot of people are surprised when they find out that I married young, but I truly have no regrets. I’m a dog mom to the tiniest, meanest dog, Cooper. They make me the happiest girl on Earth and I have no idea what I would do without them.
A lot of my friends and family would say that I’m pretty easy-going. I love people and making new friends. I love to smile and laugh. I am that person in the room that would still be laughing my butt off after everyone is long past the joke. I cry at everything… puppy rescue videos, Thai commercials, people getting the Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent, and I even cry every time I laugh (seriously).
By no means am I a perfect person, but I can honestly say that I am so happy with where life has taken me. I’m so excited to see what else is in store, and I hope that you can be a part of it.
