Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your day with your loved ones. Make sure to eat a lot of turkey and pumpkin pie with no regrets this holiday weekend. I’m currently here at home waiting to get ready before I head over to a close friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. I wanted to take a moment and share with you guys a few of the things I’m thankful for. I always try to be grateful everyday, but this time of the year definitely makes me reflect on life much more than usual.
- My husband, Alain
I am eternally grateful to have met Alain. He brings out the best in me and continues to push me to achieve our goals and dreams together. I honestly don’t know anyone else as hard-working and motivated as him. He’s been through so much, but continues to be strong and dedicated to pursue what he wants in life. We truly get each other, and that’s why I love him so much.
- My puppy, Cooper
Cooper brings so much happiness and laughter in my life. He is so playful and rambunctious. He’s always there by the front door, waiting for me to arrive home from work. I’m always greeted with his wagging tail and loving kisses. Whenever I’m in a bad mood, I know I can always count on Cooper to put a smile on my face. I’m so happy he came into my life. I’m so thankful for dogs, and I don’t know what we did to deserve such amazing animals.
- My best friends
I don’t even know where I would be without my best friends. They are such great human beings. I love my group of friends because we never have any drama or issues. We are all supportive of each other. We don’t even have to talk or see each other everyday, but our friendship remains the same. I love them all so much – all of our inside jokes, laughter, and memories… I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I’m so thankful I sat down with my laptop one day and decided that I was finally going to start my blog. It has been five months since I started, and I truly have no regrets. Blogging is so fun to me – the people I’ve met, the new opportunities I’ve been given, and the ability to be doing something I love is so awesome. I am no longer shy or embarrassed to admit that this is something I have and enjoy.
- Being open to change
One thing I like about myself is that I’m always open to change and new ideas. It’s not that I’m not content, but I think it’s good to always strive to be a better version of yourself. I’m thankful that I’m constantly wanting to learn and try new things that would improve my lifestyle. I never want to settle for anything less than what I know I deserve. We only get one life to live, so I truly believe in making the most out of it.
What are you thankful for?
